Ceremonial Circle Cord - Tidebound
A flowing ceremonial cord created to honour the intuition, emotion and ever-changing nature of the element of Water.
Tidebound is a 4 ft 6 in ceremonial cord, measured from knot to knot. This specific length is designed for traditions in which a 9 ft circle is prescribed, allowing the cord to be used as a practical measuring aid when laying out the circle.
The cord is green and white ceremonial cord, handmade to bring the vibrant qualities of Water into your ritual practice. The green and white tones evoke flowing water, riverside landscapes and the meeting of water with the natural world, while water-inspired charms add a meaningful finishing touch.
Made to order by hand, Tidebound is designed primarily as a ritual tool for creating and marking sacred space. It can also be used as a handfasting cord, particularly for couples who prefer a shorter cord or a more intimate style of handfasting.

A note on handfasting
Tidebound can certainly be used for handfasting, but please note that 4 ft 6 in is shorter than the length often recommended for handfasting cords. If you intend to use it specifically for handfasting, we recommend considering whether this shorter length will suit the binding style and ceremony you have planned.
A note on tradition
Circle measurements and methods vary between magical and spiritual traditions. This cord has been made specifically for practices that use a 9 ft circle, with the 4 ft 6 in knot-to-knot length providing the radius needed to mark it out.

As Tidebound is made to order, minor variations in the arrangement, texture and appearance of the cord may occur. These subtle differences are part of the charm of a handmade ritual tool.
Returns
The product must be returned, in it's orginal condition, before a refund or replacement is issued and the buyer will cover the cost of return postage. Replacements will be posted at no addtional cost to the buyer, after the original item is recieved. returns must be received within 14 days of receipt.
Delivery Information
Standard UK delivery is by Royal Mail 48 hour tracked delivery.
Standard delivery other than the UK, will be via Evri or Royal Mail International and a tracking number will be provided.
UK residents may upgrade their option to Royal Mail 24 hour tracked, but this will incur an additional postage charge.
Sadly, we are not longer able to ship to the EU, including Northern Ireland. All orders made from these countries will sadly be cancelled with a full refund.
Dispatch guide
Dispatch times vary depending on the nature of the product because some items are ready to post, but others are custom made.

Once they have been dispatched, parcels in the UK generally take 2 - 3 days to arrive and parcels in the rest of the world, up to 14 days to arrive. Often these are quicker than expected, but please build in worst case scenarios into your timescales when ordering, particularly in the case of custom items.
